These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through our website and to your use of the website.
By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Our products
Red Hot Reaper manufactures and sells extremely spicy food products, including Chip Challenge products.
Product descriptions, ingredients, allergen information, warnings, quantities and other relevant information are displayed on the relevant product page and/or product packaging.
Because our products are intentionally extremely spicy, customers should read all warnings and product information carefully before consuming them.
Our products must be used responsibly and in accordance with the instructions and warnings supplied.
3. Age restrictions and responsible use
Certain Red Hot Reaper products are intended for adults because of their extreme heat.
Where a product is identified as suitable only for persons aged 18 or over, you confirm by purchasing that product that you are at least 18 years old.
Products marked for adult use must not be supplied to children.
4. Orders
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the products in your basket.
You are responsible for checking that the products, quantities, delivery address and other order information are correct before completing payment.
After an order is placed, we may send an automatic acknowledgement confirming that we have received it.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
- a product is unavailable;
- payment cannot be authorised;
- pricing or product information contains an obvious error;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse;
- delivery to the supplied address is not possible; or
- fulfilling the order would breach applicable law.
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the relevant payment will be refunded.
5. Prices and payment
Prices shown on our website are displayed in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated.
Any applicable taxes and delivery costs will be shown before the customer completes the order.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
Payment services may include PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay and supported debit or credit card payment methods.
We do not intentionally store complete payment card numbers or card security codes on our own website systems.
6. Delivery
Available delivery methods, charges and estimated delivery times are shown during checkout.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
We aim to dispatch and deliver orders within the times stated on our website, although delivery estimates are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise.
Under UK distance-selling rules, goods should generally be delivered within 30 days unless another delivery period has been agreed.
We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control, but this does not affect your statutory rights.
7. Delivery problems
If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery period, please contact:
Customers should notify us promptly of parcels that are damaged, missing or appear to have been tampered with.
We may ask for photographs, packaging information or other reasonable evidence to help investigate a delivery problem.
8. Cancelling an order and changing your mind
Consumers purchasing online normally have the right to cancel an order within 14 days after receiving the goods, subject to statutory exceptions.
Certain goods may be excluded from change-of-mind cancellation rights, including goods that are liable to deteriorate rapidly and sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed.
Because Red Hot Reaper sells packaged food products, please contact us before returning any food item so that we can confirm the appropriate return procedure.
To request cancellation, contact:
Your statutory rights are not affected.
9. Faulty, damaged or incorrect products
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under UK consumer law.
Goods supplied to consumers must be:
- as described;
- of satisfactory quality; and
- fit for their normal purpose.
If you receive an incorrect, faulty or damaged item, contact us with your order details and, where appropriate, photographs showing the problem.
Where legally required, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include replacement, refund or another remedy available under consumer law.
10. Food safety and allergen information
Customers must check product ingredients, allergen information and warnings before consumption.
Required food and allergen information should be available before a distance-sale food purchase is completed and again when the food is delivered.
If you have a known food allergy or intolerance, do not consume a product unless you have confirmed that it is suitable for you.
If you are uncertain about any ingredient or allergen information, contact us before purchasing or consuming the product.
11. Extreme heat warning
Red Hot Reaper products may contain very hot chilli ingredients, including Carolina Reaper and Trinidad Scorpion chilli.
Consumption may cause intense burning sensations and other temporary effects associated with extremely spicy food.
Customers are responsible for following the warnings and instructions supplied with the product.
Do not consume a product if the packaging is damaged, tampered with or otherwise unsuitable for consumption.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law.
12. Product appearance and packaging
We make reasonable efforts to display products accurately.
Minor differences may occur between website images and delivered products, including packaging revisions, batch markings or minor colour variations.
These differences do not affect your statutory rights where a product materially differs from its description.
13. Promotions and discount codes
Promotional codes may be subject to additional terms, including expiry dates, product restrictions, minimum spend requirements or limits on the number of uses.
Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers cannot be exchanged for cash.
We reserve the right to withdraw or correct a promotion where there has been an obvious error or misuse.
14. Website use

We aim to keep the website available and accurate but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
The website may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical faults, security work or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
17. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
Where you purchase as a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
18. Privacy and cookies
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our website also uses cookies and similar technologies as explained in our Cookie Policy.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Any revised version will apply to orders placed after the updated Terms are published.

20. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the law.
